Dancing on Ice contestant Jason Donovan is bookie's favourite to win 2021 series

Australian pop star Jason Donovan is the bookie's favourite to win the new series of Dancing on Ice.

Bookmakers BetVictor puts the musician at No 1 to win the ITV show - which is expected to hit screens in early January next year - with odds of 15/8.

Coming up in second place is Coronation Street actor Faye Brookes, at 9/2, and in third place is former Olympic skier Graham Bell at 8/1.

That means a successful bet of £10 on Jason Donovan would return you £28.75, on Faye Brookes would get you £55, and on Graham Bell would bag you £90.

At the other end of the scale comedian Rufus Hound is BetVictor's least likely choice to win the series with odds of 40/1 - perhaps because of his apparent lack of previous sporting experience.

Rapper Lady Leshurr joins Rufus in the bottom three with odds of 33/1, while Rebekah Vardy is also looking unlikely to take home the crown, with odds of 20/1.

The primetime show is set to return to ITV in January next year but an exact date has not been announced.

This Morning's Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will be hosting the series alongside judges Torvill and Dean, John Barrowman and Ashley Banjo.
