Dancing on Ice 2022: Ex-Strictly pro Brendan Cole joins ITV show - dancer's net worth and wife detailed

ITV has announced that Brendan Cole will waltz his way onto Dancing On Ice in 2022. The professional ballroom dancer from New Zealand is the eighth celebrity to join the line-up.

Brendan confirmed the news on Loose Women on October 6th, saying: “I’m so, so excited. It’s been a while coming now. I’ve known I’d be doing the show for quite some time and I want to get started, I’m so excited to be on the show.”

Speaking about his experience, Brendan admits he “had one go”. He continued: “You can expect to be a bit wobbly on ice but I was hoping I was going to be better than I was. I’ve got time to learn. I’m just going to embrace the whole experience.”

“To be back on a big stage - and this is a very big, very cold stage - I cannot tell you how excited I am.”

Brendan joins Love Island’s Liberty Poole, pop star Rachel Stevens, Paraympian Stef Reid, Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor, Happy Mondays dancer Bez, rugby star Ben Foden and Paul Gascoigne’s son Regan Gascoigne.

There are four more skaters left to be announced, before the show hits our screens in the new year. In the meantime, here is some more information on Brendan Cole.

What is Brendan Cole's net worth?

The 45-year-old is said to be worth $3 million. He made most of his millions working as a professional dancer on the BBC One series Strictly Come Dancing for a decade and a half. He solidified his pro status by winning with newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky. He has also been a judge on Dancing with the Stars in his home country, New Zealand.

Who is Brendan Cole's wife?

Brendan has been married to 37-year model and wellness blogger Zoe Hobbs since 2010. They married in a 13th century parish church in Buckinghamshire of June that year. The pair share two children, Dante and Aurelia.
