Musician Lady Leshurr has become the latest star to sign up for Dancing on Ice 2021.
She confirmed the news in an appearance on Kiss Breakfast with Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely today.
She's the latest star to sign up following in the footsteps of Myleene Klass, Denise Van Outen, Faye Brookes, Jason Donovan and Rebekah Vardy, who was announced yesterday.
Speaking on the radio show, Lady Leshurr said: "Oh my gosh I don't what I’ve got myself in for but everyone knows me to be that person to just throw myself in at the deep end and I just wing it a lot of the time.”
She added, “I'm petrified, (but) I've always wanted to ice skate so what’s better than doing it in front of millions of people.
"I'm looking forward to having a new skill, (skating) backwards and just showing off in front of my friends.”
Offering some skating advice Perri, who was last year’s runner up, said: “Whenever you can just get on the ice, you’re going to enjoy it, you're going to have a blast.
He joked: “If you do a music video on the ice bring me in!”
Lady Leshurr - real name Melesha O'Garro - is a rapper and singer and is best known for her Queen's Speech freestyles.
She's worked with stars including Labrinth and Lil Nasty, and performed with Olly Murs on The X Factor in 2018.
The star has also appeared on shows such as I'm A Celebrity's Extra Camp and Celebrity Masterchef.
She is the latest addition to a stellar cast this year, which includes WAG Rebekah, who was announced yesterday.
Becky broke the news during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, telling hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid about her skating dreams.
She revealed she used to skate as a child and is looking forward to getting back on the ice.
