Saira Khan hails Dancing On Ice as 'time of her life' as she's given the boot over Ryan Sidebottom

Saira Khan was kicked off Dancing On Ice on Sunday night after a close skate-off with Ryan Sidebottom.

The Loose Woman gushed that she had had the “time of her life” and praised her partner Mark Hanretty for the “amazing journey”.

Khan found herself up against the cricketer in the bottom two, with the judges opting to save Sidebottom for his skate and “improvement”.

Fans were “gutted” to see Khan go, many blasting “joke” act Gemma Collins who managed to make it through despite a stumble-laden low-scoring skate.

One wrote: “So sad for both Ryan and Saira, especially #SairaKhan now she's out. Without a shadow of a doubt Gemma should have gone. What a joke. This just doesn't feel right. So unfair. #DancingOnIce.”

Another said: “So Saira goes home but Gemma stays? Shame on you #DancingOnIce voters.”

“Gutted at that skate off result. Wanted Saira to stay #DancingOnIce,” sighed somebody else.

Sidebottom, who skipped last week’s show through injury, admitted in his training VT that the injury had “set them back” but managed to get 22.5 from the judges on the night.

Elsewhere, Collins sobbed as she received her scores - which put her at the bottom of the leaderboard - as she wailed that she had “lost her nerve” after falling on the ice .

The reality star was unsteady as she graced the ice in her routine to Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do.

But she admitted to presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that her “legs were like jelly” after taking a tumble last week, leaving her with injured knees.

Dancing On Ice continues Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
