Dancing in the street

Participants dance to the sound of ohayashi music at the 62nd Koenji Awa Odori Festival in Suginami Ward, Tokyo, on Saturday. About 5,000 performers paraded down the street while chanting the traditional phrase, "yattosa, yatto, yatto." Organizers were expecting 1 million visitors to the 2-day festival, which ended Sunday.
