A legendary Scots dancing gran delighted revellers at a Glasgow music festival last weekend.
Fiona Watson, 82, was a very special guest at Riverside, Scotland's biggest electronic music festival.
The Giffnock grandmother was wearing her famous 'Smoking hot... but still cool' t-shirt as she bopped along to the beats at the event, which ran over three days from Friday September 3 until Sunday September 5.
Her granddaughter Jenn Nimmo-Smith has praised Fiona's antics and shared pictures of the pair's day at Riverside.
Jenn, 35, is a senior publicist in the music and events industries, and told the Record about how much Fiona enjoyed herself.
She said: "My gran Fiona Watson came down to Riverside Festival on the Friday for a couple of hours so I could give her a tour of the backstage, have a dance with her and show her a bit of what my work is like as I run the PR for the event.
"She has a real love for life and always up for trying new things - with experiencing an electronic music festival being no different.
"She loved having a walk round the site and we had a dance together to In Flames on the Square Stage and meeting some of the festival goers and taking some pictures with them too.
Thousands of people flocked to the Riverside Festival, which returned after a Covid -enforced absence which saw last year's event cancelled.
Ravers from across Scotland pitched up at the three-day celebration of the best in electronic music.
The likes of Jamie xx, Disclosure, Amelie Lens and Skream played sets across the weekend.
Fiona got to experience the music on the Friday, with Jenn enjoying spending time with her there.
Jenn added: "Everybody she met was very impressed that at 82 she was out experiencing the festive - just goes to show that you're never too old for music.
"After the last 18 months we’ve had, where all of us couldn’t do anything, it meant a lot to be able to enjoy a few hours of music together with her."
Fiona previously shot to fame for wearing a hilarious t-shirt as she walked around Glasgow city centre.
The t-shirt was adorned with diamante chilli peppers and read 'smoking hot... but still cool."
It caused her to be stopped by a photographer who took her picture because of her colourful garment.
