Dance Your Style Thailand national champion is Tae-Brucelee

After a series of high-stakes dance matches showcasing rhythm, improvisation, and raw athleticism, Chayanthorn Somphol aka Tae-Brucelee, a 31-year-old Locker from Chanthaburi, claimed the title at the Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final Thailand on May 30, at the historic Hua Lamphong Railway Station.

"I'm truly happy and proud of this achievement. It reflects all the hard work, dedication, and determination I've put in every day,” exclaimed Tae-Brucelee. “Constantly challenging myself and pushing beyond my limits wasn't easy, but that's what made this moment possible. Looking back, every effort and sacrifice was worth it, and I'm grateful to see it all come together today.

"The most memorable moment for me today was feeling the energy, cheers, and support from the audience. It was truly an incredible experience. I've always loved dancing and genuinely enjoy being on stage, but being part of a competition on such a grand scale made it even more special,” said Tae-Brucelee.

"The final round was the toughest because I was physically exhausted by then. But what kept me going was the joy of performing. I put the fatigue aside and chose to fully embrace the moment on stage. That sense of fun gave me the energy to push beyond my limits and enjoy every second of it."

The global competition made its way to Thailand with an intense qualifier competition, which gathered 200 dancers from across the country to audition. In the end, the final top 16 dancers were selected to battle at the National Final. During the competition, the dancers showcased a mix of styles, personalities and improvisation to unpredictable tunes ranging from Funk, Pop, Rock. Tae-Brucelee visibly outshined during the last round of the competition, earning votes from the crowd.

Following their win, Tae-Brucelee is gearing up for a bigger battle in Zurich, Switzerland on Oct 24, as he faces the best dancers from more than 55 countries at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final.

"I believe the biggest challenge on the world stage will be the mental game,” states Tae-Brucelee. “As the competition gets bigger, so does the pressure and expectations. If you lose sight of the joy of performing, it can affect your ability to dance and improvise at your best. My focus is to stay mentally prepared, trust myself, and enjoy every moment. I'm really looking forward to giving my all and having fun at the World Final.”
