Hundreds of revellers will descend on Balloch this Friday night for a dance party like no other.
Two legends of the Scottish dance scene will be on the decks at the village’s nightclubs.
The Backroom will be hosting Joe Deacon while George Bowie entertains clubbers at Desire.
Andy Williams, from Dance-Ovation, says he is delighted that the party is back on in Balloch.
He told the Lennox Herald: “I reckon there will be about 800 people between the two gigs.
“Joe has been around since the late 80s/early 90s and is a well known name in the Scottish dance scene.
“Down to his radio show, George Bowie who will be playing across the road, is a well known household name.
“These are two massive names in a village the size of Balloch on the same night.
“I don’t ever remember a night like this in Balloch.
“I think it’s going to be a great night.”
Andy runs Dance-Ovation which ran popular events in Alexandria for local youngsters between the mid-1990s and early 2000s.
He is responsible for the Backroom Joe Deacon gig and can’t wait to put on a show.

He said: “The place is going to be jumping.
“This is the first time in 20 years that Dance-Ovation have put on a gig.
“We have got everything in place. Everything I used to do in the 90s, I have done for this.
“We just need to get the numbers in. We can really put Balloch on the map.”
This time last year, Dance-Ovation went top 10 in the streaming charts after putting a live show on from a local studio while venues were still closed.
But Andy was always keen, when it was safe to do so, to be resurrect the live gig once again.
He said: “It ended as the 90s ended but we brought it back during lockdown doing some live streaming.
“We realised it was popular enough to put on a show.
“When we started Dance-Ovation we were teenagers.
“We are all in our 40s now and it is a bit of a challenge getting all together and doing things, working around families and jobs."
Andy, who will be on the decks from 11.30pm with Joe Deacon coming on at 1am emphasised that those attending will need to show proof of vaccination through the Covid passport scheme.
“We have picked a good time where things have opened up but we aren’t in the middle of winter.
“I have been talking to people who used to go to the gigs back in the day. It will be nice to see some old faces again. It’s not going to feel like a club full of strangers. It’s going to feel like a club full of friends.”
Tickets for the Dance-Ovation event are available from the Glenroy bar.
