Dance icon Basshunter heads to Jesmond in search of hangover cure after Newcastle gig

Dance star Basshunter sampled what has been dubbed as 'one of Newcastle's best burgers' when he headed to Jesmond for a hangover cure on Saturday.

The man who gave us hits like All I Ever Wanted, Angel in the Night and massive worldwide number 1 Now You're Gone was one of the big names on stage for Clubland Live at city centre club Digital on Friday night.

He joined the likes of Flip n Fill, Micky Modelle and Ultrabeat on the bill for the well attended event. He was clearly feeling slightly delicate on Saturday as he went to Brack Burger at Osborne's in Jesmond in search of a hangover fix.

Former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Basshunter, wearing sunglasses indoors as a sure sign he was feeling a bit fragile, took time to pose with some of the Brack Burger staff during his time at Osbornes.

He gave Brack Burger a firm seal of approval on social media too, posting a picture of him at Brack Burger and writing 'awesome burgers guys.'

One of their followers commented: "All he ever wanted was a brack burger."

Brack Burger was the brainchild of Gosforth brothers Joe and Ollie Brack, who started up the business as a takeaway and delivery service during lockdown.

After soon spread about how good their burgers were, Brack Burger took up residence in popular Osborne Road haunt Osbornes.

Recently, after having a takeaway van at their family's pub The Jubilee in Gosforth, the lads launched a dine in service at the pub and recently competed in Battle Royale at Wylam Brewery.

Brack Burger have also caught the attention of North East food bloggers who have put them right near the top of the list for the best places to get a burger in Newcastle.
