Glover Teixeira wasn’t the only person to leave Saturday’s UFC event with an impressive win.
A few other fighters competing on the main card of UFC on ESPN+ 40 in Las Vegas logged solid victories.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski defeated Tanner Boser, who’s 12 years younger than the Belarusian, in a unanimous decision in the co-main event. Arlovski (30-19 MMA, 19-13 UFC) is now on a two-fight winning streak and 3-1 in his past four outings.
Additionally Giga Chikadze and Yan Xiaonan continued their unbeaten runs in the UFC with impressive wins.
Chikadze (12-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) stopped Jamey Simmons with a first round-TKO after he dropped Simmons with a head kick. Xiaonan (13-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) outpointed seasoned veteran and former title challenger Claudia Gadelha in a hard-fought strawweight contest.
