Dana is tipped to take part in the next series of Dancing With The Stars.
Fifty years on since she become the nation’s sweetheart with All Kinds Of Everything, the Eurovision icon is a favourite to battle it out for the glitterball.
Following Monday night’s documentary on RTE for the 50th anniversary of her Eurovision success, the former politician's odds have tumbled into 5/1 from 12/1 with BoyleSports.
She follows a surge in interest in RTE radio presenter Sean O’Rourke, who is being backed to follow in the footsteps of his old colleague Mary Kennedy and take part in the next series of DWTS following his retirement.
The award-winning journalist was added to the market at 10/1, but those odds tumbled last week into 5/1.
Other rumoured contestants are Mattress Mick (6/5), Maura Higgins (13/8), and Mario Rosenstock (2/1).
Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “There are already rumours circulating which celebrities will take part in the next series of Dancing with the Stars.
“We make Dana a 5/1 shot to take part, cut from 12/1 after punters were quick to request odds on the Eurovision winner following last night’s documentary.
“Mattress Mick is 6/5 while Longford model Maura Higgins is 13/8.”
