Dan Walker hosted his last episode of BBC Breakfast after six years as fans sent well-wishes to him.
Dan said he was leaving the BBC early last month to become host of Channel 5's revamped 5 News in place of Sian Williams.
And the Football Focus host tried to look fresh faced on his last day, despite some last minute issues the night before.

Dan told viewers he'd only managed to have a mere “two hours and 46 minutes” due to "travel issues" last night.
And he shared his “final stroll” into the BBC on social media as he admitted he didn't have the "best prep for the final day".
Dan's untimely inconvenience came after he was stuck on the M4 charging his electric vehicle. It meant he was out of sync when he arrived at the BBC
He wrote: "Last day and all that. I think you can see I’ve had under 3 hours sleep but I’m looking forward to seeing you on BBC1 from 6am with @sallynugenttv I’ve got cake."
Co host Sally Nugent admitted it as the "end of an era" for Dan as she tweeted: "End of an era. Join us on @BBCBreakfast with @mrdanwalker for the last time. One or two surprises on the way."
BBC Breakfast sport host Mike Bushell also wrote online: "Breakfast legend @mrdanwalker will always be. One of loveliest h sapiens on the tele box and genuine wonderful friend and bloke off it. Always makes a very difficult job seem so easy.
"Could present anything, unlike Lynn (in AP) even a cat. Have a great last show @BBCBreakfast."
Dan's hotly tipped replacement Jon Kay said: "Farewell @mrdanwalker. You've been brilliant on @BBCBreakfast – especially guiding us all through those early lockdown days with such kind, calm and reassuring authority. A real gent. The whole team will miss you. Good luck, sir!"
Fans also sent him their well-wishes, with one saying: "Oh Dan you really are such a decent human. I may have cried this morning. So good to see Maria on the Telly again too. Feliz Aniversário Maria. #BBCBreakfast"
