Dan Walker stood by his TV rival Piers Morgan during a fiery Twitter argument with Lord Sugar on Sunday.
Business mogul Sir Alan Sugar lashed out at Good Morning Britain's Piers on the social media site, after he blasted Brits for sunbathing in parks as the coronavirus crisis worsens.
However it seems BBC Breakfast presenter Dan agreed with GMB's controversial Piers, as he defended the star when the argument broke out through a string of tweets.
Piers went into an explosive rant on Twitter as people ignored the government's social-distancing rule to relax outside in the blazing sun at the weekend.

He labelled those sunbathing in public parks "traitors to the NHS" after a photo emerged of a group of people lying on the grass.
Despite strict measures being in place to stay at home to prevent the killer virus spreading further, Lord Sugar disagreed with Piers and admitted he "couldn't see where he was coming from".
The Apprentice host wrote: "I can't for the life of me understand what @piersmorgan is on about in respect to sunbathing.

"If you are 10 ft away from the next person in the open what's wrong with that. In Essex we have big fields if you are in the middle of one chilling out in the sun whats wrong with that?"
While Dan hit back at Lord Sugar, and told him it's disrespectful that people aren't staying at home.
He penned: "With respect, it's about respect. Look up Nero... this is the modern equivalent #StayAtHomeSaveLives."

In agreement, Piers quoted Dan's tweet and simply put a thumbs up emoji after his furious outbreak on the app.
It comes as the death toll in England stands at 4,494 - as of yesterday afternoon.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also been hospitalised after contracting the deadly virus, and spent his first night in hospital on Sunday as his symptoms persisted.
