Appearing on Strictly It Takes Two tonight Dan Walker brushed off commenting about a Tweet from Piers Morgan and instead told host Rylan Clark that his daughter's opinion was more important.
Dan, who presents BBC Breakfast, was shown a Tweet from Piers and the pair are known for often clashing on Twitter, particularly over the viewing ratings of BBC Breakfast and Good Morning Britain when Piers was a morning presenter.

Introducing the Tweet Rylan said: "I think we have finally ended some beef from years gone by because Piers Morgan has been in touch!"
He then read the Tweet which said: "Very disappointing by Mr Dan Walker...I was hoping you would be a lot worse than that!"
Cheekily Rylan said: "That is a backhanded compliment and you know on this show he can't moan about ratings!"
Laughing Dan, who is partnered with professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova, brushed off the Tweet simply replying: "That is true. I am far more interested in what my daughter thought."
He explained that his daughter was nervous about him embarrassing her and after the dance, he saw his daughter crying with pride.
He said: "She gave me this lovely little wave and said I love you Dad. So from going don't embarrass me Dad to being really proud, I mean I loved the dancing it was brilliant, but that was such a special moment." as he became a little emotional himself.
Strictly It Takes Two is on every weeknight from 6:30 PM on BBC2.
