Dan Quinn has relinquished defensive coordinator duties to Jeff Ulbrich

The Falcons remained fairly quiet during their Week 9 bye, but just an hour before kickoff against the Saints, it was reported that head coach Dan Quinn will no longer act as the team’s defensive play-caller.

Linebackers coach Jeff Ulbrich will take over as Atlanta’s defensive coordinator in Week 10, according to NFL.com’s Jason Hirschhorn:

Dan Quinn has relinquished defensive-coordinator responsibilities to Falcons linebackers coach Jeff Ulbrich. Ulbrich will become the third person to call plays on defense for the team over the last 12 months.
