Dan Quinn doesn’t know yet if Grady Jarrett will show for Falcons’ mandatory minicamp

Falcons coach Dan Quinn expects both Julio Jones and Vic Beasley to attend mandatory minicamp when it begins next week. However, he admits he does not know yet if Grady Jarrett will show up, per Jeff Schultz at the Athletic. For what it’s worth, he anticipates Jarrett will.

Jarrett has signed his franchise tag, which will pay him $15.2 million for this season if he does not work out a long-term contract extension before the middle of July. A deal has proven elusive between the two sides, who have been negotiating on and off for well over a year.

Jones is also negotiating a long-term extension with the team, but he did participate in a team-building exercise last month. Julio was apparently still rehabbing his injured foot.

As for Beasley, he opted to continue training on his own rather than attend (voluntary) OTAs this year. He is entering the final season of his rookie deal.
