Dan Osborne shames troll who used his photo to send racist abuse after England defeat

Dan Osborne has called out a vile troll who has been using his pictures to send out racist abuse on Twitter.

The former TOWIE star, 30, was left disgusted when a number of his fans sent him the profile which uses the name Mark Robinson along with a profile picture of Dan.

After discovering the profile, the fuming star took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday to plead with fans to report the page because he doesn’t want to be associated with the ‘disgusting’ comments made by the troll.

“There’s something I really need to address. I’ve been sent this a load of time now,” he revealed.

“There’s a guy with a profile on Twitter called Mark Robinson and his profile is using my pictures as if it’s him.

“He’s putting disgusting, racist, vile, horrible things on it. Things I don’t even want to put anywhere near my page.”

Dan went on to ask his fans to report the page in a bid to disassociate himself with the controversial comments regarding England’s defeat against Italy in the Euros final on Sunday night.

“If you could just go on to your Twitter accounts and report it and get this shut down. He’s using my pictures and I don’t want a picture of me anywhere near that absolute scumbag.”

It comes after the vile fake account suggested that Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Bukayo Saka, missed their penalty shots because ‘they are black’.

Since England’s defeat on Sunday night, football fans have been left stunned by the vicious racial abuse inflicted on the three talented stars.

England captain Harry Kane has since released a statement on social media, throwing support behind his hard-working teammates as he gushed over their ‘courage’ in the nail-biting final moments of the match.

Sharing a photo of the team, Harry penned: "They deserve support and backing, not the vile racist abuse they've had since last night.

"Three lads who were brilliant all summer had the courage to step up and take a pen when the stakes were high.

"If you abuse anyone on social media, you're not an England fan and we don't want you."

England manager Gareth Southgate also said the racist abuse issued after the defeat was ‘unforgivable’.

“It's just not what we stand for,” he insisted.

“We have been a beacon of light in bringing people together, in people being able to relate to the national team, and the national team stands for everybody and so that togetherness has to continue.

"We have shown the power our country has when it does come together and has that energy and positivity together.

"It's my decision who takes the penalties, it's not a case of players not volunteering or more experienced players backing out."

Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Football Association have also since condemned the behaviour of racist fans.
