But as these pictures show, the ex-TOWIE star certainly seemed to be lapping up the attention on his night out in Los Angeles.
Dan was joined by two male friends and the blonde woman - who he insists is a PR friend he's worked with in the past - for a night out on Friday, and the evening quickly got wild as the group did shots at a Western-themed bar.
The 27-year-old reality star had been visiting the world-famous Gold's Gym in Venice Beach - which the PR represents - before they all headed to Saddle Ranch Chop House in West Hollywood for dinner and drinks.

Pictures of Dan and his pal show them looking very cosy as they chatted outside the bar, seemingly by themselves.
Dan, sitting next to his female friend at the bar, could be seen toasting the group before downing clear shots, before all four of them made their way outside to the road.
There, the unsteady blonde had to hold on to Dan's firm bicep and even clutched his wrist to support herself as she tottered down the pavement in heels.

Wearing skin-tight ripped jeans, a cropped black top that showed off her abs, and with her enviable blonde locks worn down in loose waves, the woman laughed at Dan's jokes throughout the night.
Dan, who wore a tight stripy top, skinny jeans and box-fresh white trainers, was pictured without his wedding ring on the night out, although he was wearing it just last month.
His rep has since said Dan lost his ring during a gym visit some weeks ago.

The group walked a little way up the Sunset Strip before deciding to finish off the party back at their hotel, with the woman ordering an Uber from her phone while Dan gave her some physical support.
However, he has angrily denied that there was any more than friendship between him and the blonde lady, insisting he's being "targeted" for simply enjoying his life.
"So much bulls**t gets posted and printed about me... seriously just want them to leave me alone now. It's getting too much, I can't even hang out with friends or even work without them talking s**t about me," he wrote in a furious Instagram statement.

"Am I being targeted? Cause I swear I don't see others getting it like I do. Also, Jacqueline isn't at home, she's away. You really don't know s**t."
He followed that up with a tweet, fuming: "I'm glad there is some people that aren't so stupid to just believe these s****y 'news' sites.. The lady is someone that has a PR company, I'm friends with and I've done work for her for years, which is why we're in LA for a job with one of her clients. F**king s**t news sites."
But his own wife Jacqueline doesn't seem to have accepted his excuses, as she Jacqueline Jossa hints at SPLIT from Dan Osborne after he parties with blonde woman .

"I hope the press are happy. They have got what they wanted. Now leave us alone," she wrote on her Instagram Story, before adding: "I'm taking some time out."
It's not the first time Dan has found himself in hot water - just last month he was forced to deny cheating claims after eyewitnesses claimed to see him snogging Love Island's Alexandra Cane on a night out in Manchester.
And his marriage very nearly crumbled last summer when he was papped on a yacht in Marbella cosying up with another Love Islander - Gabby Allen - although both of them denied any wrongdoing.
