The former The Only Way Is Essex and Celebrity Big Brother was all smiles as he arrived at the Cancalm launch at Piccolino in Bramhall.
Dan, who calls Manchester his 'second home', was joined by his fellow TOWIE star pal James 'Arg' Argent who travelled from Essex for the launch.
Dan's actress wife Jacqueline is heading into the jungle for the 2019 series of I'm A Celebrity , which returns to our screens on Sunday night on ITV.
She and Dan have two daughters Mia, 15 months, and Ella, four.
Dan and Jacqueline, who played Lauren Branning in EastEnders from 2010 until last year, married in June 2017.
Good luck messages have been pouring in for the soap star on social media.

Meanwhile James, who has just returned from Dubai with his girlfriend Gemma Collins, said it was the 'best holiday of his life.'
He also told guests of his desire to be a resident act at the Manchester Christmas markets with his band ‘The Arg Band.'
