Dan Osborne begs I'm A Celebrity viewers to give wife Jacqueline Jossa a 'break' after she's brought to tears

Dan Osborne has pleaded with I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here viewers to give wife Jacqueline a break from bushtucker trials.

In Saturday night's episode of the ITV reality show, the Eastenders star and Ian Wright were chosen to collect stars for the camp.

Following presenter Ant's announcement, Jacqueline broke down in tears and said: "I don't want to do this anymore".

Her husband and father of her two children then took to Instagram after the show to urge fans to go easy on her.

Dan, 28, who married Jacqueline, 27, in 2015, said: "I know I said to you all vote for Jac because she ain’t here to change light bulbs. I didn’t mean every single trial. Give her a break now. Come on.

"She keeps smashing them all. She’s worried about it but she’ll smash it. She’ll keep proving everyone . And she’s doing it with Ian Wright as well which is good. He’ll look after her.

"Let her do this one then just give her a break please. She’s getting upset now. It ain’t nice. But she’ll be good. She’ll smash it. She’ll get the stars, go back and have a nice dinner."

Before his message about Jacqueline, the TOWIE star praised campers Caitlyn Jenner and Adele.

Caitlyn, 70, was captured chewing down on a cow's eye in Saturday night's episode while the radio 1 DJ was chosen to eat a cow's anus.

Joined on the sofa by his mum, Dan added: "We were just saying how great Caitlyn is and she’s smashing it. And Adele. Solid".

You can watch I'm A Celebrity...every night on ITV at 9pm.
