Dan Meis has provided a strong response to bizarre rumours claiming plans for Everton's new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock have fallen through.
The second stage of public consultation ended last month with a contractor likely to be announced in the near future and hope that construction will be underway by 2020.

On social media, however, a Twitter user contacted Meis - the man chosen to design the new stadium - to ask about rumours that were circulating online.
"@Meisarch is [the new stadium] still going ahead, reports coming out it's too expensive and fallen through?" they wrote.
On Friday evening, Meis replied: "That is utter bull****."
Meis has become a popular figure amongst supporters with regular interaction online and last year proved his love Everton by having 1878 - the year the club was formed - inked on his arm.
