Dan Meis issues Bramley-Moore Dock update after re-joining Everton new stadium project

Dan Meis has posted an update from Bramley-Moore Dock after he re-joined the Everton stadium project recently.

Last month, it was confirmed that the architect had been handed a stadium guardianship role after his involvement with the club's new ground had naturally come to an end a year previously.

In July 2019, the American first presented his designs for a state-of-the-art waterfront stadium to huge acclaim from the Blues fanbase.

Meis’ role will involve reviewing the technical construction specifications and engaging the compliance team ahead of each stage of development to ensure the original design concept remains in place throughout the build.

And, ahead of Everton 's latest match against Spurs on Sunday afternoon, the architect took a trip down to the waterfront site to have a look around.

Posting on Instagram shortly before kick off, the American wrote: "And there were those that said it would never happen…no turning back now…"

The caption accompanied a latest image from the site itself showing a construction vehicle atop a pile of rubble, with a small glimpse of the foundation piling equipment in the background.

Meis was then in attendance at Goodison for Everton's clash with Spurs at Goodison later in the day.
