Dan Carter agrees deal with Amazon Prime for new movie

Amazon Prime will put pen to paper on a deal to show the new movie ‘Dan Carter — A Perfect 10’.

The film charts the legendary All Black’s career through interviews with the man himself, former team-mates Richie McCaw, Beauden Barrett and Adam Ashley-Cooper, and ex-England No.10 Jonny Wilkinson.

Carter’s spells with Canterbury, Crusaders, Perpignan, Racing 92 and Kobelco Steelers are all charted alongside his incredible success with New Zealand.

His father, Neville, provides a fascinating insight into his childhood in Southbridge.

While wife Honor opens up on the repercussions that the highs and lows of his career — winning the Rugby World Cup in 2015 and several hellish injuries — had on the player and his family.

At one point, Carter admits: “I’d go back to my hotel room and I’d be broken — I just had tears coming down my face.”

The film will air on Amazon Prime during the Rugby World Cup in Japan, which starts on Friday.
