Detroit Lions fans thought this might be their year to go to the Super Bowl. The dream was dashed on Saturday by the Washington Commanders in a divisional round upset.
Holly Campbell, wife of the Lions, understands their pain and posted a message to the fans on Sunday.
“It hurts.” Holly Campbell wrote on IG. “This season was a dream and nobody wanted it to end. We all wanted more. Detroit deserved more. We’ll be back, better and stronger but today…it just hurts💙 #onepride”
