'Dan Biggar is a genius!' Remarkable Wales v Italy moment leaves rugby world drooling

Anyone who has been paying attention to the fortunes of Northampton Saints will know Wales fly-half Dan Biggar is in arguably the best form of his life at the minute.

And he's certainly brought that confidence straight into Wales' Six Nations opener against Italy, which finished 42-0 to the home side.

Three penalties early on in the first half from Biggar took Wales' lead to 9-0 before Josh Adams' first corner try of the game.

But it's Biggar's hand in the second of Adams' tries that has got the rugby world drooling, with Biggar flicking the ball through his legs in a backward pass to allow Adams to dive over for a second time.

It's a no-look pass that has drawn comparisons to All Blacks legend Carlos Spencer, who famously flicked the ball through his legs to create a try for Joe Rokocoko against South Africa at the 2003 World Cup.

Relive the moment of magic here:

Wales and Scarlets centre Jonathan Davies, currently injured and appearing as a BBC pundit during today's match, said of Biggar: "It's pretty cheeky of him.

"All the forwards are stacked on the openside, Biggs tells Adams to come down the short side and the winger probably doesn't think he's going to get the ball away.

"It's a great bit of skill, another great finish using his body to make sure he gets the ball over the line, but I think it all comes from (Aaron) Wainwright getting the momentum going again."

It's safe to say the quick-minded pass certainly got rugby fans singing the Northampton man's praises.
