Dan Bailey's back still ailing; Cowboys might add a kicker

FRISCO, Texas _ The Dallas Cowboys (3-1) have done a good job overcoming injuries through four games this season.

But they now face a challenge that can't simply be solved with the next-man up philosophy.

Kicker Dan Bailey had a back injury crop up before Sunday's 24-17 victory against the San Francisco 49ers and the team might need to add a kicker to the roster before Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

No workouts of prospective kickers are scheduled as of yet, per coach Jason Garrett

"We don't have anything schedule right now," Garrett said. "But that is certainly an option as the week goes on."

Bailey, the most accurate kicker in NFL history, missed a 47-yarder against the 49ers. It's marked the second consecutive week that has missed a kick.

Bailey made a 22-yarder in the game as well as three extra points.

That issue could be a potential problem going forward.
