Damond timeline highlights two mystery minutes after police arrived

Transcripts of Justine Damond's 911 calls, police radio tapes, and a police incident report help paint a picture of the sequence of events on the night the Australian was shot dead by Minneapolis police.

What remains unclear however is what happened in the two minutes between 11:39pm, when police officers Mohamed Noor and Matthew Harrity told dispatchers the situation was under control, and 11:41pm when they radioed in the shooting.

Mr Noor, who shot Ms Damond from the passenger seat of the patrol car, has declined to be interviewed by investigators.

Mr Harrity has told investigators officers heard a loud sound immediately before Ms Damond approached the driver's side of the car.

Here's the timeline based on what we know so far:

11:27pm: The first call

Ms Damond called 911 saying she could hear a woman in the alley behind her home who sounded "distressed".

"I'm not sure if she's having sex or being raped," she said.

She said she thought the person had yelled "help" and added: "I don't think she's enjoying it."

The operator said officers would be there soon.

11:35pm: The second call

Ms Damond called 911 again, saying officers had not arrived. She said she was concerned they had the wrong address, and gave it again. The 911 operator confirmed the details and said officers were on their way.

11:39pm: Police arrive

Police officers Mohamed Noor and Matthew Harrity radioed dispatch reporting a "Code 4", which means the situation is under control.

11:41pm: Officers start CPR

They contacted dispatch again, this time to report the shooting and call for assistance from multiple emergency services including the fire brigade. They also said they were starting CPR on Ms Damond.

11:48pm: Desperate fight to save Damond's life

The incident report states the officers have been performing CPR for the "last four minutes".

11:51pm: Damond pronounced dead

Ms Damond is pronounced dead in the alley at the south end of her block. A medical examiner said she was shot once in the abdomen.
