Damon Harrison takes aim at Giants fans in Twitter tirade

If you thought wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and safety Landon Collins were the only two former New York Giants who couldn’t get over their former team and fans, you’d be wrong.

On the heels of a weeks-long outburst by Collins, former Giants defensive tackle Damon Harrison decided to join the fray.

With an increased amount of free time on his hands as he skipped organized team activities in Detroit while reportedly seeking a new contract, Harrison decided to hop on Twitter over the weekend and take aim at Giants fans.

Harrison, nicknamed “Snacks,” unleashed a Twitter tirade in response to several Big Blue fans, gloating about how much money he’s saved throughout his career and how he has been able to support his family whereas some of the Giants fans haven’t.

This type of behavior is nothing new for Harrison, who made a habit out of negative exchanges with fans during his time with the Giants. In several instances, Harrison even challenged fans to a fight, eventually proclaiming he could beat up anyone, including then-UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic.

Despite the petty nature of Harrison’s tweets, Giants great, Carl Banks, came to his defense, which Snacks expressed an appreciation for.

The irony of these type of outbursts by Beckham, Collins and Harrison is that it’s the exact culture general manager Dave Gettleman sought to change. And while they take offense to having been sent packing, they continue to prove Gettleman made the right decisions for the better of the New York Football Giants.
