Congratulations are in order for Damon Harrison and his family. The Lions defensive tackle became a father to twin sons on Tuesday.
Harrison was with his wife for the birth of the couple’s fifth and sixth children. He had teased the news early on Tuesday with a cryptic Twitter post indicating “something big” was coming today.
Twins certainly count as something big. The proud papa was beaming as he showed off his baby boys in a later tweet. No names as of press time.
Harrison did not publicly reveal any pregnancy before the birth, which could be the root of Lions GM Bob Quinn’s comment that the defensive tackle’s absence from OTAs was not contract-related.
