Damon Harrison, Darius Slay get special boosts in ‘Madden 20’ game

A couple of Detroit Lions defensive stars will get extra powers in the “Madden 20” video game.

According to Madden School, Damon Harrison and Darius Slay earned special boosts for gameplay in the latest edition of game, which will be released later this summer.

Harrison is one of three NFL defensive tackles to get the permanent “Run Stopper” boost. That adds the ability to shed blocks and reach out while engaged to make tackles against the run.

Slay gets the “Zoned Out” power-up, which allows him more plays on the ball in the air and quicker reaction times while in zone coverage. He is one of seven defensive backs to earn this permanent trait. Interestingly, Slay does not get the “Pick Artist” boost even though his 11 interceptions over the last two seasons are tied for second in the NFL.

No Lions offensive skill players get any special boosts or powers.
