Blur frontman Damon Albarn said that he has taken his daughter on holiday to North Korea.
The Gorillaz singer, 58, appeared on The Adam Buxton Podcast with his bandmate Jamie Hewlett, when the trio discussed whether they have made life “too easy” for their children, and how to balance protecting them and exposing them to the world.
Speaking of his daughter Missy, Albarn said he has “been very hard on [her] as far as culture and education,” adding that they had been on a family holiday to North Korea.
“Maybe my daughter's a bit more politically aware than a lot of people of her generation. I know that for a fact because she's always telling me how frustrated she is when she says no one seems to care what's happening,” he added.
