Derbyshire Police have released body camera footage showing the arrest of Damien Bendall after he murdered his pregnant partner, her two children and her daughter's friend in Killmarsh, near Sheffield.
Bendall was handed a whole-life order on Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to the 2021 murders of 35-year-old Terri Harris, her 11-year-old daughter Lacey Bennett, her son John Paul Bennett, 13, and Lacey’s friend Connie Gent, also 11.
He also admitted raping Lacey during what prosecutor Louis Mably KC told the court were “brutal, vicious and cruel attacks on a defenceless woman” and young children.
The police body camera footage shows the moment Bendall told a police officer that he had killed four people.
