Damian Lillard rapped about his loyalty to the Portland Trail Blazers and NBA fans were so tired of it

If there’s one thing Damian Lillard is going to do, it’s tell you that he does not want to join a super team.

Never mind all of the hemming and hawing this offseason about not having made a decision on his future with the team and the cryptic messages. Forget about those.

He doesn’t want to join a super team and that hasn’t changed. We get it. We accept it. And, honestly, it’s pretty cool that he’s got that mentality.

But, for whatever reason, Lillard continues to feel the need to let us know that he’s still rocking with the Blazers until he retires or, of course, they don’t want him anymore.

This time he spelled it out in a freestyle. Didn’t expect that one, did you?

Warning: There is some NSFW language in this freestyle.

“Dame Lillard, DeMar DeRozan, Bradley Beal, trill Me not wanting to join a super team might end up being my Achilles’ heel Hector, I’m on my shield Trying to get next to Freak and Dirk on that lonely hill.”

I mean, man.  He’s spitting right here. But, uh, come on, Dame. We get it. You’re not leaving Portland. No one is asking you to at this point — well, no one except 76ers fans, anyway.

NBA fans were so annoyed by this. It was actually pretty funny.
