Say what you want about Draymond Green and all of his warts. He’s an offensive liability from a scoring standpoint, he can be a bit loose with the basketball at times, too.
That all came back to bite the Warriors in different ways in their 117-112 overtime loss to the Grizzlies. And some people were blaming Green for it — particularly after he had a chance to win the game at the end of regulation.
Instead of shooting a regular shot or getting contact at the rim and going to the free-throw line, Green shot an extremely awkward floater that never felt like it had a chance of going in.

Of course, the internet roasted him for that. But not the Trail Blazers’ guards. Instead, they’re plotting to get him on their team.
Damian Lillard retweeted this tweet after the Warriors’ loss.

Dame has been putting in work recruiting since the Warriors’ first play-in game. He had a tweet calling Draymond an “MF” which is short for…well, you know what it’s short for.
And that’s a compliment, by the way.

Clearly, if things don’t work out in Golden State, Green has a home elsewhere.
He won’t be a free agent until 2024, though, unfortunately. Keep pushing those buttons, though, Blazers. It never hurts to start your work early.
