Dame Joan Collins celebrates getting the coronavirus vaccine the same day as Queen

Dame Joan Collins said the Covid-19 jab is both "painless and seamless" as she became the latest celeb to get vaccinated.

The veteran actress, 87, was delighted to receive her coronavirus vaccine on the same day at the Queen and Prince Phillip, who were vaccinated at Windsor Castle.

She told her fans on Instagram that she had received the Oxford University/AstraZeneca jab at London's Bloomsbury Surgery on Saturday morning.

In her post she also thanked two NHS staff for their work administering the vaccination.

Sharing a photo of herself getting the jab, Dame Joan wrote: "Delighted to get @astrazeneca @ouhospitals #vaccine yesterday morning at the @nhsenglandldn Bloomsbury surgery - thank you Mr. @rajgill2585 and @dr-ammarahughes for a painless and seamless procedure! Same day as our Queen! #honoured"
