The Cleveland Browns secondary will once again be shorthanded when they face the Denver Broncos in Week 9. Just one week after getting starting CBs Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams back from missing weeks with hamstring injuries, starting safety Damarious Randall has been declared out with the same malady.
Randall’s absence is magnified by the fact Eric Murray will also be out. Murray often plays the same role as Murray as a coverage safety but has also seen extensive action at slot cornerback.
In addition to the defensive backs, tight end Pharaoh Brown was also ruled out. He has a concussion and did not travel with the team to Denver.
