Damaging winds are expected to lash parts of NSW and the ACT on Monday as the wet weather sets in for the week ahead.
A severe weather warning has been issued by the Bureau of Meteorology to the ACT's west.
Damaging winds up to 90km/h, averaging 70km/h, are possible for elevated parts of the Snowy Mountains, ACT, Southwest Slopes and Southern Tablelands on Monday.

The Bureau expect the wild weather could affect Perisher Valley, Charlotte Pass, Thredbo, Cabramurra, Selwyn and Khancoban.
The Bureau said a strong high pressure system near Tasmania and a low pressure system off the NSW coast was driving the strong easterly winds.
The wind is expected to ease throughout the day.
Wet and cold weather which hit the ACT on Friday afternoon will hang around for the rest of the week with the temperature set to reach just 12 degrees on Monday.
Cloudy and rainy conditions are forecast for the entire week but the temperature will start to climb from Wednesday when a top of 16 is expected.
