Dalymount Park confirmed as the venue for UCD's play-off final against Bray Wanderers

The FAI have confirmed that next week's First Division play-off final between UCD and Bray Wanderers will be played at Dalymount Park.

The one-off clash will take place under Friday Night Lights at the home of Irish football in Phibsborough on November 19th, with a scheduled kick-off time of 7.45pm.

A neutral venue was agreed between the sides for the game, which ordinarily would be a two-legged affair but will be a standalone game this year due to time constraints.

UCD survived a second-leg scare to run out 4-2 aggregate winners over Treaty United on Sunday night while Bray edged past Galway United by a solitary goal.

The Students coughed up two goals in the opening hour in Belfield, having led 3-0 from the first leg, but Adam Verdon netted late on to settle any lingering nerves.

Shamrock Rovers loanee Brandon Kavanagh was the hero for Gary Cronin's side as his spectacular strike, his seventh of the season, sealed a 1-0 win at Eamonn Deacy Park.

The winner will face the team that finishes ninth in the Premier Division, again in a neutral venue, which has been narrowed down to Waterford, Finn Harps and Drogheda United.
