Dalvin Cook moves up in RB rankings

After three-straight 100-yard games, Vikings running back Dalvin Cook leads the NFL in rushing with 375 rushing yards.

With that, Cook moved up a spot in Maurice Jones-Drew’s running back rankings over at NFL.com. Cook is now listed at No. 3 behind Ezekiel Elliott and Christian McCaffrey.

Here’s what MJD wrote about Cook:

I felt like Cook could be this guy when he came into the league as a second-round pick in 2017, so it’s nice to see him healthy and leading Kevin Stefanski’s offense. He’s on pace for a massive campaign just three weeks in, and I’m guessing Minnesota will continue to give the rock to the productive running back — especially with Kirk Cousins’ shoddy decision-making.

It’s quite the story for Cook, who missed 17 of 32 games to start his career due to a torn ACL and hamstring injuries last week.

Cook will get his next test on Sunday afternoon against the Bears, a team that ranks fifth in the league against the rush.
