Dalvin Cook is on the verge of 1,000 rushing yards

Vikings running back Dalvin Cook needs just 106 rushing yards to hit the 1,000-yard mark.

Considering Cook has hit that mark five times in nine games this season already, it’s possible he hits that mark on Sunday night against the Cowboys.

Cook’s 894 rushing yards leads the NFL.

If Cook does hit the 1,000-yard mark (which *crosses fingers for no injuries* will happen this season), he’ll be the eighth player in Vikings history to hit that mark. The last was Adrian Peterson and his 1,485 rushing yards back in 2015.

Going into the 2019 season, Cook had just 969 rushing yards in 15 games over two seasons. He’s showing us that when he’s healthy, he’s one of the best running backs in the entire NFL. And at just 24 years old, there’s plenty more to come from him.
