Dalvin Cook is on pace to have one of the best seasons by a Vikings RB

We’ve been able to see just how dangerous a healthy Dalvin Cook can be in 2019.

Through nine games, Cook has 1,232 yards from scrimmage, a mark that ranks second in Vikings history through nine games, the great Courtney Cronin points out.

Back in 2007, Adrian Peterson had 1,301 yards through nine games.

Cook leads the NFL with 894 rushing yards to go with nine touchdowns. He also has 33 receptions for 338 yards. That puts him on pace for 1,589 rushing yards and 600 receiving yards.

This has been so good to see from Cook after missing 17 games over his first two seasons due to ACL and hamstring injuries. We knew the talent was there. For Cook, it was just about being healthy enough to showcase it.

Cook will have his next chance to shine in Week 10 against the Cowboys in Dallas. That could prove to be a tough task considering the Cowboys are allowing just 96 rushing yards per game, a mark that ranks 10th in the NFL.
