Dalvin Cook is healthy and could be primed for a big 2019

Through his first two seasons in the NFL, we’ve seen flashes of great talent from running back Dalvin Cook.

The problem, though, is that Cook has only played in 15 of 32 possible games. While he did play 11 games last season, he ran for just 615 yards and it was pretty clear Cook was never fully 100-percent healthy.

Here we are, less than four months from the start of the 2019 season, and Cook feels back to himself.

“I’m healthy,” Cook said via the Pioneer Press. “I was able to be me (during the spring), fly around and be Dalvin. That’s why it went smooth. Now, I’m back having fun, loving the game.”

This could be a huge season for the 23-year-old. Unlike last offseason when he was recovering from a torn ACL, Cook can focus on contributing to the offense. And it should be a dangerous one with Kirk Cousins, Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, and a hopefully improved offensive line.

With a healthy and confident Cook, it feels like the sky is the limit for him and this unit.
