You think, “He’ll do that again against the Steelers! RB1 numbers, here we come! There’s no way the Vikings would rush Dalvin Cook back from his shoulder injury, right?”
Except then you wake up Thursday morning and there’s a report from the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero that Cook “is now trending towards playing tonight” and you want to throw your phone across the room.
