Dalvin Cook continues to be an absolute stud in 2019

The legend of Dalvin Cook in 2019 continues.

In Sunday’s 28-10 win over the Giants, we saw the third-year running back erupt for 132 rushing yards and a season-high 86 receiving yards.

Through five games this season, Cook now has 542 rushing yards (second in the league), five rushing touchdowns, 21 receptions and 200 receiving yards.

He’s already at a career high for rushing touchdowns and he’s going to crush every other career high assuming he can stay healthy.

Cook is on pace for 1,734 rushing yards, 17 rushing touchdowns, 67 catches and 640 receiving yards. This wouldn’t only be Cook’s best season as a pro (which isn’t saying much considering he’s missed 17 of his first 32 games as a pro), but it would be one of the best all-around seasons we’ve seen from a running back.

Up next for Cook and the Vikings will be the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium. That’ll be quite the challenge considering the Eagles are allowing just 63 rushing yards per game, a mark that ranks first in the NFL.
