Dalvin Cook already has a career-high in rushing yards and we still have 9 games left in the season

Here we are, just seven games into the 2019 NFL season, and Dalvin Cook already has an NFL-leading 725 rushing yards.

That marks a career-high by 110 yards and the Vikings still have nine games left to play.

Cook also leads the NFL with eight rushing touchdowns, his 103.8 rushing yards per game and his 945 total yards from scrimmage. He also leads the NFL with five 100-yard games.

This was the type of Cook Vikings fans got a glimpse of before he tore his ACL four weeks into his rookie season.

Per Pro Football Focus, Cook has an overall player grade of 86.1, a mark that ranks third among running backs.

Cook will go up against the Redskins in Week 8 on Thursday Night Football. It feels like there’s plenty of opportunity for him to have a big week considering the Redskins are allowing 134 rushing yards per game, a mark that ranks 27th in the NFL.
