Dalrymple weirdo who assaulted women and asked strangers for kiss detained in custody

A creep who caused fear and alarm as he asked strangers for a kiss has been detained in custody.

Lee Taylor, of Barbieston Terrace in Dalrymple, behaved in a threatening manner on December 14 last year as he assaulted two women.

Charge one states that Taylor approached his first victim at Carrick Street and attempted to engage in conversation with her.

The 39-year-old then attempted to enter her parked car while she was inside, refused to leave and asked her for a kiss.

Taylor then assaulted her by grabbing clothing placed around her neck.

On the same day, the creep approached his second victim on High Street and Alloway Street while she was with her four-year-old child.

Taylor pursued the woman, attempted to engage in conversation, refused to leave and requested money from her.

He then assaulted her by grabbing hold of her neck to her injury.

The weirdo also asked police officers for a kiss at Ayr Police Office later that day.

Taylor faced five charges and appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court last week for sentencing.

But the court heard he had not co-operated with the preparation of the reports, leaving a Sheriff no option but to detain him in custody until the report was finalised.

Sheriff Desmond Leslie said: “Mr Taylor I’m going to call for the report.

“You’ve been given one chance already to have the report prepared and you were warned the last time that you could be detained in custody.

“You’ve been given a second opportunity and you’ve not taken use of that so you’ll be remanded in custody until the report is prepared.”

He will reappear at the end of the month.
