Dallas DA's office deciding whether Manziel faces legal trouble after report he partied at same club as ex-girlfriend

A month ago, former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel's legal team finalized a deal with Dallas County prosecutors to dismiss an assault charge against him.

The prosecutors' rules were clear: We'll drop the charge if you take an anger management course, attend a domestic violence impact panel, complete drug and alcohol rehab and don't have contact with your accuser in the next year.

The last rule might be difficult to enforce.

Over the weekend, Manziel was reportedly seen partying at the same Miami club as his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley, whose allegations that he assaulted her last year led to the misdemeanor charge in Dallas.

TMZ reported that Manziel and Crowley both posted on social media that they were at the LIV club in Miami on Sunday night. It's unclear if it was just a coincidence or if the two had any contact with each other while they were there.

On Snapchat Monday, according to the TMZ report, Manziel referenced Crowley's restraining order against him and posted this message: "She knows LIV on Sunday is church! Pfff surprised she was even able to get in without me."

A spokeswoman for the Dallas County district attorney's office said the office has been "made aware of recent developments with Mr. Manziel" and is deciding whether Manziel violated the terms of his dismissal agreement.

The attorney representing Manziel in that case did not immediately respond to The News' request seeking comment.

Also up in the air for the troubled football player is an ongoing Austin police investigation of allegations that he broke a bar employee's nose in September. The employee has since sued Manziel, seeking damages of $200,000 to $1 million.
