The Dallas Cowboys have reached a rookie contract agreement with first-round pick CeeDee Lamb.
Lamb and the Cowboys came to terms on a four-year, $14 million contract with a fifth-year option, sources confirmed to the Star-Telegram's Clarence E. Hill, Jr. The contract is fully guaranteed.
Rookies started reporting to camp this week with quarterbacks and injured players able to report today. Other veterans will report next Tuesday. As of now, players are going through the NFL's COVID-19 testing protocol with nobody in the building until the first group is cleared for physicals.
By reaching a deal with Lamb, the Cowboys now have contracts agreed to with four of their seven draft picks. Along with Lamb, deals have been reached with fourth-rounder Reggie Robinson, fifth-rounder Bradlee Anae and seventh-rounder Ben DiNucci. Still to be signed are second-rounder Trevon Diggs, third-rounder Neville Gallimore and fourth-rounder Tyler Biadasz.
Lamb had a standout college career at Oklahoma. He left after three seasons ranking as the program's top receiver in average yards per catch (19.0) among players with at least 130 receptions. He's also second all-time with 32 receiving touchdowns, and third in receiving yards with 3,292.
Lamb is expected to make an immediate impact on a Cowboys' offense that ranked No. 1 in the NFL yards last season. Quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 4,902 yards with two receivers reaching the 1,000-yard mark in Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup. Running back Ezekiel Elliott finished with 1,357 yards rushing.
