Dale Carnegie's bestseller 'How to Win Friends and Influence People' adapted for kids

American author and behavioural expert Dale Carnegie is best known for his book 'How to Win Friends and Influence People'. And now an abridged version of his bestselling book is adapted for young readers by Ashwitha Jayakumar.

Titled 'Dale Carnegie for Children' the book has stories and tips that highlight important skills like how to get others to listen to you, speak well, be a good leader or be a team player, etc all of which will help young readers stay ahead in life. The news of the new book was announced by publisher Hachette India.

'When Dale Carnegie, a poor boy on a farm in Missouri, USA, wanted to learn how he could stand out in a crowd, he decided to study successful, influential people around him and learn the secrets of self-confidence. When he grew up, he travelled the world, teaching people what he had once taught himself. So powerful and popular were his clues to staying ahead that many thousands of people enrolled in his unique courses and read his books, which continue to sell millions of copies,' reads the book's blurb.

While author Dale Carnegie died in 1955 his books still continue to sell hundreds of copies worldwide even today.
