Iain Wilson stole the show as he won the Scottish Two Wheel Drive Championship on the RSAC Scottish Rally on Saturday.
The Dalbeattie driver and co-driver Chris Williams were nearly half a minute ahead of the rest in their Ford Escort Mk2.
It was the third different winner of the class in the three KNC Groundworks Scottish Rally Championship events so far this season.
Overall victory on the rally went to Dumfries’ David Bogie and co-driver John Rowan in the Skoda Fabia R5, giving him a record-equalling sixth success on the Scottish.
Second was Euan Thorburn in his Ford Focus WRC with Garry Pearson completing the podium in his Ford Fiesta R5.
Fourth went to the Subaru Impreza of two-times Scottish Rally Championship winner Jock Armstrong from Castle Douglas.
He and co-driver Cameron Fair were a lonely fourth after suffering a puncture on stage five.
The BMW of Dumfries’ Mark McCulloch and Michael Hendry was fourth in class eight with Helen Brown of Auldgirth helping William Pollock and his Ford Escort Mk1 take third in class seven.
Scott Peacock from Castle Douglas and Robin Neill from Haugh of Urr won class one in their MG ZR ahead of the similar car of Dumfries’ Niall Cowan Jnr and Thomas Bruce.
Colvend’s Bryan Gourlay and Dalbeattie’s Scott Gourlay were second in class two in their Peugeot 205 GTi, one place ahead of the Chrysler Avenger of Castle Douglas duo Alan McMorran and Albert Connelly.
In Class three, Niall Cowan Snr of Dumfries was third in his MG ZR, co-driven by Callum Shanks of Castle Douglas.
The next round of the Scottish Rally Championship is the Argyll Rally on Saturday, June 22.
